I’d like to add a page navigation arrows at the bottom of each post that enables people to navigate the story but there’s nothing in the widgets menu to do this, i’ve downloaded the ‘wp-post-navigator’ plugin but the installation instructions lead me to think this isn’t possible with the free web site that i’m using.
can someone enlighten me? is there a way?

ok, it seems i have previous and next post listed by name at the bottom but i’d prefer it to just say ‘Previous’ and ‘Next’ at the bottom, can I modify it in some way?
in addition i’d like to get rid of the category tags at the bottom but can’t for the life of me find where to cancel their appearance, its not anywhere in the widgets management for the footers

That’s a feature of the theme you’ve selected. I suspect modifying it would require a CSS upgrade, but I’m uncertain if it can be done even with that.

Correct. No plugins allowed on a free WordPress website.

Tags are different than Categories. You’ve evidently added both to your posts. For example the post Bit Kitch.. April 2013 has only two categories, but 17 tags. You may remove some or all of these at the Categories and Tags modules of the post editor page.
