Post not appearing correctly

How do I get my post to not space so much after a page break and not cut off the first few letters of my text when I have an inserted picture at the top of the post?

I have done most of the other posts in a similar fashion and not had this problem. Is it the image?

No, it’s not the image, it’s because you entered a bunch of paragraph breaks between the image and the text. Switch the editor to Text then back to Visual and click Update.

In the future remember that the editor is not a WYSIWYG editor: it has the same width and font no matter what the theme, while each theme has a different width and font. You set the alignment of the image to left, which means that the rest of the content should wrap around (= start next to the image instead of below it) if there’s room enough. The theme you’re using is narrower than the editor, so there was room enough in the editor but no room on the post, so the paragraph breaks you thought you added next to the image showed up below the image.

To prevent the editor from fooling you in such cases, set the alignment of the images to none instead of left.
