Post not appearing in tags

I recently changed my site over from private to public and have added a new post to it.
In the past when I had in on public I remember a lot of traffic we got was through the reader section where we add tags.
I have noticed that now that my blog is public again and I’ve made a new post it doesn’t seem to be appearing under any of the tags I’ve put? I haven’t used more than 15 tags and the post is not offensive for any reason.If someone could help me that would be great! I really enjoyed appearing in that section as people would comment and engage with our posts and we’d meet other like-minded bloggers.

Have you set a default category of your own choosing rather than “uncategorized”?

Yes I’ve put it into two categories: ‘Australia’ and ‘Uncategorised’
Yes I’ve gone to those pages and still can’t find an answer. I know there are lots of ways to connect with other bloggers but that unfortunately, doesn’t solve my problem which is that I’m not appearing in the reader function under any of the tags I’ve used.
