Post not appearing on my blog page

The last post-but-one doesn’t appear on my blog page – how can i move it so it appears there, hopefully in the order in which I posted it, too?

Would you mind elaborating on what you’d like to change?

I’m putting chapters of my proposed book as I write them and while chapter 6 is showing on the blog page, 5 doesn’t, even though I posted it the previous day. I suspect that it’s because I’m finding navigating WordPress tricky!

It seems you published Chapter 5 as a page, rather than as a post. Pages don’t appear in the blog feed, but are meant to be added to the site menu as “permanent” content.
Go to My Site ->Site ->Pages and edit the page titled Chapter 5. Copy all the content. Then go to My Site ->Site ->Posts, create a new post and paste in the copied content. You can manually adjust the post’s time stamp to have it publish before chapter 6, so your chapters still appear in the correct order.
Then you can go back and delete the page.
