Post Not Emailed to Subscribers – how fix?
-
Hi. Can you help? I just published a post that was not password protected or private, but it was not emailed to subscribers. Also, all information about the number of subscribers has disappeared from my stats page on the dashboard. When I published, a screen I’d never seen before said “Congrats- this is you [x] post” but it did not say “this has been sent to [y] subscribers.”
What’s going on? How can I get this emailed to everyone?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. Maybe it was sent to everyone, even though there was no message about it?
Do you personally know any of your subscribers? Do you have a way of finding out if they received your post?

AHA! Nice one. I am subscribed to my own blog, and it’s in my spam folder! Do you know why? It’s never happened before. Is there anything in a post that can trigger that? My readership skyrocketed this weekend after something cool happened, so I’d love to tweak the post if I must and republish or something. Thoughts? Hmm.

Maybe it’s one of the links you put in there?
Also, if you send your entire post instead of just the beginning, some email clients may think it’s spam and automatically send it?
This is all just speculation. -
Strangely, the only link in there was to one of my former posts, and I link to them all the time. I had the setting so that it would only send the summary of the post, rather than the whole thing. So weird. Can you think of any resource I could turn to to figure out why it was spammed? Any other “help” line that could pick up where you and I left off? Thanks so much for the assistance- this was really helpful, but I’m not sure what to do now.
