Post not going to Main Page

im brand new to this, site was just created yesterday night anyways heres my problemwhen i was posting stuff, it would always go to the main page http://twentyfortynine.wordpress.com/ and if i wanted i could have to copied to catergories as well.
My problem is that when im posting now, its goes into a category. I have my front page to display latest posts, but whenevery i try to post (with no categories slected it goes into uncategorized and if i select a category it only goes into that category not main page)
This is a very weird problem, and i could definatly use some help on it.

My default post category is set to uncategorized, but i dont want it like that. Its forces me to choose a category, there is no -none- option

You need to type a category into the category box to use it; blogs don’t come with categories pre-selected. Once you have a few posts up, they should run vertically down your main blog page (which may or may not be your start page, depending on which you’ve set for your first page; some people set their About page as the first page).

worked on it, tis sorta working, not at top of main page, but it is in the middle. ill post a bit more see the results, if its fixed, i can resolve this issue. Thanx for your help.

Ok i found the problem. Apparently i change my time setting. Becasue wordpress use’s a unviersal time, i change my traffic data time so that i could see what was happening according to mt time with is 5 hours behind wordpress’s. What this did to my post was move them around. Since they are organized by time on main page, so my post’s are in middle becasue these posts were made after time change. I posted again now and it moved closer to the top.
Thanx for your help and i hold that what ever information i gave to u guys may help someone else.
