I had a post that got published as a site page… how do I convert the site page to a post?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Any team member from WP will look into this. However, I have mentioned generic steps to covert the page into a post or vice-versa.
The first step is to install and activate the plugin. Just type “Post Type Switcher” in Search Plugins… input box on Plugins > Add New screen or download the plugin via WordPress repository and upload via FTP.

Page to Post
Post to PageNow, To convert a single page to post, Please follow the below steps
(1)Edit the page that you want to convert.
(2)On the page Edit Screen, you will find a post type drop-down under “Publish” meta box.
(3)Change the post type to “Post”, hit OK and click update. That’s it. Your WordPress page is converted to the post. -

Hi @lamb51, I’d recommend going into the text / html / code option for the page, then copying and pasting that into the same tab for a new post. Let us know if you need help with that!
@rahulyadav089 just noting free sites hosted here won’t have the ability to install plugins on our servers. That’s available on WordPress.org installations or sites with upgrades that support plugins. The support forums for individual installations are at https://wordpress.org/support -
It’s not supported. Thanks. I will just copy and paste. It just won’t have the original release date.
