post not showing in categories

One of my posts isn’t showing up in its categories. Why is this?

http://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-posts If you have assigned too many Categories/Tags to your posts, then you need to edit and delete. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/ After removal note it may take several days for your posts to begin displaying there. -
Thank you timethief. I Finally found this answer after I’d posted in the forums. I found that indeed I had too many tags/categories on the post and corrected it and now it’s showing up. I’m thrilled to discover it was so simple. Posting to the forums was the only way I could get an answer. Thank you for responding to me so promptly. ;)

Hi – you might want to post this elsewhere since the topic is different than what I originally posted and it’s been marked “resolved” so I don’t know if anyone will come to answer you. I’m a newbie but try something I’ve done. If you go to your post and click on the edit button and the in edit mode you go to categories on the right and put in the one you want and uncheck the one you don’t want and hit update you should be in the right category. I think this will work but as I say I’m not a facilitator and I hope someone who really knows something tries to help you. I’m only answering you cause I got a message from this forum asking for help. Try this and I hope it works. If not try reposting somewhere else. Good luck to you.
