Post not showing in Reader

  Last week I had the same problem. My posts do not show in my my followers’ or my own reader.Please help!

  Hi, as this sounds like the same issue, I’ll add the ‘modlook’ tag so that a manual refresh can be tried by one the the support team to see if that helps again.

  Hi there,

  I’ve updated your site’s feed again.

  If this happens again it means there’s some underlying problem with your site’s feed and I’ll need to get a developer to look into it in that case. Please let me know in this thread, should it happen again. Don’t create a new one.

  Kokkie, this problem has occurred again. I have posted a few successful posts this past week, but my latest one doesn’t show in the reader.

  The post is showing for me in the Reader, at around ten past two South African time.

  Our system shows me you’re on a Mac. Is that correct? Please try refreshing the Reader using Cmd-R, and check if the post appears for you then. I suspect this time it might be a browser caching issue instead, as your site’s feed looks fine to me.

  On a Windows machine, try Ctrl-F5 to force a refresh next time you’re not seeing your post. If that also doesn’t help, please let me know :)

  Hi Kokkie,

  I have the same problem again. My posts don’t show up in the reader. It seems as if a few people can see it, but most can’t and I also can’t. I’ll appreciate some help, thanks.

  Hmm. It’s not showing for me either. Strange that it does show for some people, though.

  I’m reporting this to our developers to take a look. I’ll let you know what they say.

  Just a quick update – our Reader team confirmed this shouldn’t be happening, but they’re not sure what’s causing it. They’re looking into it.

  Thanks for letting me know. It looks like there’s a long delay before your posts appear. This shouldn’t happen – it should be instant – so the team is looking into this.
