Hi there,
What are you trying to do in this case? I see that you have created a page called “MyPortfolio,” and set that as the page on which your blog posts will appear, however since you haven’t set a different page to be your home page then this step isn’t necessary yet.
So if you could just let me know your goals I will see if I can help you out!

my goal was to have a JustinGarza.net/portfolio URL
however it seems like “portfolio” is a keyword… just like you can’t have an “if” variable in C# or Java. so i changed the name of my portfolio page to “myportfolio” … it looks like i will have to suffer with a JustinGarza.net/myportfolio URL.i did notice there was a portfolio section in the admin control …maybe i have to redo my website from scratch and use this instead.
what would be the benefit to using the portfolio/projects that you have in the wordpress admin control thingie Vs just having a page in with post like what i am doing?
thanks?

Hiya,
Our Portfolio/Projects are really just another post type. It helps users differentiate between their artistic or professional work and their more traditional blog posts. The Portfolios can display a bit differently depending on your theme choices, but other than that they behave almost exactly like normal blog entries.
Given that you already have quite a few blog posts, you may want to try just moving a couple of posts over to make sure that this is the right solution for you before you commit entirely, but this may work for you!
