Post not showing up on Reader

  Hi! I published a post an hour ago, and normally it shows up on the Reader almost immediately (I know this because I follow myself. I know. Super cool.) but it has yet to show up. Perhaps I just need some patience but I’m pretty sure it hasn’t taken this long before…I haven’t changed any settings either.

  Help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

  Will you please check out the reasons for non-appearance here?
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-posts If you have assigned too many Categories/Tags to your posts, then you need to edit and delete. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/ After removal note it may take several days for your posts to begin displaying there.

  Thanks, but neither of those links seem to apply to my situation.

  There haven’t been any new posts on my reader in 7 hours. Not sure if it’s just not showing my post or if it’s not showing any posts from the blogs I follow.

  The post has shown up. It took it’s sweet time to do so (over 4 hours) but it’s there now!

  I have had this same problem for my last two posts and they have not appeared subsequently. Both posts have under fifteen tags/categories so I really have no idea why they aren’t appearing.

  Is your blog “new”?

  5. Your blog is very new. It can take a few days before new blogs are included on topic pages. Brand new blogs might not have enough posts for us to accurately determine whether or not they’re spam. http://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-postshttp://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-posts

  It is only a few weeks old but my previous posts before the last two were appearing in reader so I’m not sure why that would have changed.

  Also this only happens on my own reader, (i follow my own blog just to keep track) apparently it is showing up for other people. Thanks for flagging to staff, hopefully I can figure it out.
