post not showing up when searching tags

  I add tags to my posts, but when i search for those tags or categories, my posts don’t show up.
  why?
  ie. I add “saskatoon” as a tag, but when i look for blogs, mine dont show up/

  I just want to make sure I answer you correctly. Are you searching for blogs (websites) or posts with a specific tag? I’ll assume you mean posts with those tags.

  saskatoon-2 is the tag, and the tag pageview when you click the tag links shows posts. These means that you have a category called saskatoon and the tag would be the duplicate name, thus a -2 is added to the name. Still works as this only appears in the address.

  Are you searching for posts with saskatoon in them on your site? I did a search for saskatoon and found your posts.

  Are do you mean in the WordPress.com Reader under a specific tag like saskatoon? Are you trying to find other sites blogging about the area? Then search for that name.
