Why aren’t my subscribers receiving an email when I post?

Subscribers will only receive an email if they specifically signed up for it. Following your blog does not automatically subscribe them for email notifications as well: http://en.support.wordpress.com/following/#manage-email-and-im-settings-for-specific-blogs
