Post on home page using oxygen theme

  I have modified the text of my post but my home page does not change. The changes appear on the blog page, but not the home static page. I am using the Oxygen theme. See http://www.brucepeight.wordpress.com

  No one replied, so I spent hours looking for a solution. Finally figured it out. I had abandoned using the “more” function (could not make it work), so I started to use the “excerpt” function. But, of course days later, I had forget I did that (“Excerpt” is buried at the bottom of the post edit page). So when I made the text change to the post, the “excerpt” was still appearing on the home (static) page. Hope this helps anyone else solve this problem.
