  So I want to start a blog, but my home page isn’t showing any of my blog posts. Making my home page static just erases everything. I’m confused.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There are a couple steps in this process. First, you will need to set your static home page:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/#2-set-a-static-front-page

  Then you will need to set what page your blog posts should be displayed on:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/#optional-create-a-blog-page
