Post on the Reader

  Are my posts visible to others on the Reader? I am not getting any views, likes or comments on what I post on the Reader.

  Hi there,

  Your posts are appearing in the Reader, yes:

  But I see your last post was in March. The Reader shows people posts from all the different sites they follow in a single stream, with the most recent posts always at the top. So typically posts only receive traffic from the Reader for the first day, maybe two days, after publication. After two days the post is so far down in the stream that it’s unlikely any of your followers will see it, unless the specifically go looking for it.

  In other words, to have a steady flow of traffic to your site from the Reader, you need to publish regularly, at least every few days, to ensure there’s always one of your posts near the top when one of your followers open their Reader feed.
