Post Order

  I would like my posts to appear in reverse chronological order. I want my oldest post to be at the top and for the following story to be further down the page. Can you provide direction on this? I would like my intro at the top, then day 1, day 2, day 3, etc.

  the theme Vostok uses that posting order, if you want to switch to it. I was looking for the opposite, so now I think it’s by theme! Thanks for asking the question, you may have inadvertently answered mine. :)

  augh, never mind. sorry, jumped the gun. I’m not sure how to change posting order. I want newest posts at the top like your current blog – I was using Vostok, but when I switched to your theme Blogum, the post order didn’t change. :(

  You have to change the posted date of every single post so that your oldest appears newest, and vice versa.

  You could also make a static Page and use the Archive Short Code to list your Posts – I think the Archive Short Code has an option to sort in reverse order – not what you ask for but another work around

  Do note – that having the oldest first is OK for the first time visitor – regular visitors will probably get tired very quick of paging down pages and pages of stale Posts to find the new stuff at the bottom of the bucket if you use the change date option
