post order
-
Hello. I have three blog posts so far and somehow my latest post ended up being posted between my first and second posts. How do I set it so that newest posts show first?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi –
It sounds like the date of the post may have been edited when you were working on them.
You can edit the publish dates to get them lined up the way you want right now. Going forward, use these instructions for reference about post order: https://en.support.wordpress.com/show-your-posts-in-chronological-order/

Hi there,
Blogs are essentially a reverse chronological order publishing tool wherein the most recent published post will display on top. You cannot change this order on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. There is no upgrade that allows you to change this post order on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. It’s designed to serve your visitors as they come to read the most recent posts and will not be inclined to trawl through hundreds of posts to locate it.
Additional information:
The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Dashboard > Settings > General. Select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”.

Please excuse my post above. I was not convinced that the rest timezone or sticky post issue were dealt with. If neither are in play then I apologize. -

I’m ghosting your threads so I can provide better answers. It always makes me sweat when I post into any thread to add to what Staff have said. Thanks for being so gracious. :) -
I just wanted to thank you both for taking the time to respond to my question. Turns out I had marked the one blog post “sticky” and that was causing it to show first. Once I unchecked that, all the posts went back to reverse chronological order like I want. Again, thank you and I hope you guys have a great weekend!
