Post order and category

    Two basic questions – I have just searched the forums and tutorials for about an hour and still cannot get a straight answer about how to do 2 very simple things. I feel pretty dumb but hopefully this won’t take too much of your time.

    I want to know how to change the order of specific posts on my blog. I haven’t been writing a lot lately and wanted to add a few things. I want my stories in chronoligical order, but did not write them that way. How can I move one post so it appears earlier on the page?

    The other thing is I would like to organize my posts into two pages – I created the pages and categories and I have tried putting posts into these categories but it doesn’t seem to allow me to do this to posts that were already published and all posts still appear on the front page instead of on the two pages I created.
