post out of order

  I had my posts going in the correct order. Then today they are all posting underneath one of the older posts. I don’t know how to get them back into the correct posting order. If anyone can give any suggestions I would be most grateful.

  The “older post” that is at the top is probably a “sticky” post. On the “edit posts” screen of your dashboard, “quick edit” the problem post, and below the “tag” box, there is a check box with “make this post sticky” next to it. Make sure the check box is clear.

  If that’s not it, perhaps you have the “older” post scheduled to post on the wrong day or at the wrong time — with the turn of the year, I did that — I scheduled it to post on Jan 1, but forgot to change the year. Oops! ;-)

  I agree with womantowomancbe . Normally this problem is caused by having a sticky post and forgetting to remove that designation from it.

  I think it must have had to do with when I changed my UTC time it messed up where the postings went. Thank you for your help!!

  The time settings was the second idea I was prepared suggest. :) I’m so glad you have sorted this. Have a fabulous blogging year in 2010. :)
