Post ownership glitch

    Anyone else encounter any odd behavior with the assigned owners of posts? On a blog I administer, when I changed my preference so as to NOT use the visual editor, I suddenly became ineligible to be the author of a post. I could write a post but when published, the author would be different. If I used Manage -> Posts and then looked at the Author option, my own handle no longer appeared.

    Sounds odd, no? Even odder — when I checked “use Visual editor”, suddenly everything was back to normal. I’m thinking this can’t be the designed behavior.

    That IS odd. If I were you I’d send a bug report to Support when they re-open tomorrow, giving links to specific posts where this has happened and all details. I’m sure they’d want to fix that.
