post page dashboard – title is 1 character per line…?

  is this a bug? can I resize the title column so that it is easier to read and access the “edit” “quick edit” buttons?

  author, categories, these all read normal.

  every now and then the title will show in just one or two lines but 99% of the time it is as I put in the first communication

  Are you using a tablet, by any chance, or a computer with a smaller screen, like a 12″ laptop? If so, this is normal.

  In the WP-Admin dashboard, the post title column is the one that resizes the most as screen width changes, which means on narrower screens, that column becomes the narrowest of the lot, to the point where the title no longer actually fits.

  This is how the WordPress software itself is designed, and not something we can fix.

  Try collapsing the sidebar menu on the right when you’re on a smaller screen – that will make a bit more space available for the columns, which should help.
