Post per page not working

  I’ve been trying on the reading settings to have one post for the front page but for some reason every time I preview the blog it still shows all the post on the page and it takes forever to load the blog.

  Does anyone know why it doesn’t show just one post on the front page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
