Post preview always loading twice??

Why is the post preview in the new WP editor (prior to or after saving a post/page) always loading twice? That is, it shows the preview, then after a few seconds suddenly loads again. Only tested this in Firefox so far.

What is the URL of the site you refer to please?
You could have either a connectivity issue or a browser related issue.

On what site is this, and can you please give the exact steps you’re following that leads to this happening? If you’re able to make a screen recording and upload it to Cloudup.com or a similar file-sharing service that would help a lot.

The site is still private, so I can’t link to it, but here are some details:
1) Browser: latest Firefox. Using extensions such Adblock and Ghostery. Haven’t tested other browsers yet.
2) Happens only with the new, light blue WP editor, not the traditional wp-admin dark one.
3) So I write a post and click on preview. The small preview window opens, the post is displayed. Then after a few seconds, the post disappears and is loading anew (showing the little turning circle symbol). Only the second time it’s stable.
4) The preview window always stays open, it’s just the content that is reloading.

You can link to a private site, as the site will still have a WordPress.com URL no matter the privacy settings. Regular volunteers can’t see it, but I can.
Using extensions such Adblock and Ghostery
Both those extensions can cause problems with how WordPress.com works, as they affect how stuff like JavaScript and cookies work in your browser. Can you please disable them and see if this still happens?
I use Firefox daily and I don’t see this happening when I preview a post, so it’s most likely something specific to your browser setup.

Yes, it’s probably the extensions. Strangely, it only happened with Baskerville theme, so I thought it might be theme related. Anyway, thanks for your help!

I’m not able to get this to happen in Firefox using Baskerville.
What might be happening is that the editor is briefly showing the last preview you’d viewed before it starts loading the new version. But that’s only a guess as I can’t get this to happen on my end.
