Post Preview on one blog, not the other.
-
Hi friends-
I am an administrator on two blogs mynameisherb.com and crazyflipperfingers.com
On the mynameisherb account I don’t see a post preview at the bottom of my editor and on crazyflipperfingers I do.
Is this a setting that is different in my preferences or is it the theme or something else.
Thanks to all.

You won’t have the preview option till you’ve pressed Save and Continue Editing. Then it should appear above the editing box on the right.
-
ps. the penultimate sentence in the my last thread was supposed to end with a question mark. “… is it the theme or something else?”
-
On the crazyflipperfingers blog the screen shot appears automatically after saving at the bottom of the editor. I’m getting the link to preview, I just don’t understand why my editors are different.

I love penultimate. Say it every time I see the opportunity. “… can I have the penultimate everything bagel, please…”
-
Screen shot? I’ve never seen such a thing. Are you getting a Snap Shot preview? (Snap shots is at Presentation>extras>.

I feel like I’m lacking the vocabulary to describe this situation. One editor automatically previews at the bottom after saving, the other requires clicking a link to a new window.
Snap shots is enabled. I’m properly confused.

theres a off line blog editor from Micro-Soft called “Windows Live Writer” it actually lets you see what your post is going to look like on your blog before you save or publish.

Well, mynameisherb is a wordpress.com blog and crazyflipperfingers is a self hosted wordpress blog
Quoting from the source code:
<meta name="generator" content="WordPress 2.1.1" />
It’s not that strange that two completely different software versions hosted and administrated separately behave differently.
