Post Redirection without plugin on a blog on wordpress
-
I have a blog that resides on wordpress hosting so I can’t add any plugins.
I want to redirect one post to another without the use of plugins or anything that I “cannot” do in my circumstances.
Any help is appreciated!

You can link in one post in another post. Is that what you want to do?
This is the guide for creating links in posts and pages: http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/
This is the general link model:
Highlighted anchor text here
This is the visual result it’s not actually linked.
Highlighted anchor text here
Enter the anchor text you want to link to first.
Then use your mouse to highlight that anchor text. (If you don’t highlight the anchor text the chain icon will remain grayed out and not be useable.)
Next click the chain icon in the editor and proceed to create the link. -
I know that.
I want ‘actual redirection’.
The thing is I have one post specifically made for slideshow and 1 post for info down below the main page. And both of those pages refer to same thing. So I want redirect one of the post to another so that I dont have to update contents on both posts everytime! This is more like 301 redirection but without plugin as I can’t install them being on a free hosting.

This free hosted WordPress.com blog is devoid of blogger content.

It makes no sense at all to pay for a site redirect upgrade for an empty blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/WordPress.com is not a aggregation platform. It’s a blogging platform that supports original content blogs only and provides no splogging ie. auto-posting tools.
Please check our page on types of blogs for more information about what content is and isn’t welcome on WordPress.com.
Not welcomed and not allowed:Automated blogs: Blogs that are generated by computers, including randomly generated blogs, blogs that re-publish press releases, marketing material, search engine results, link dumps or any other mass-produced content. http://en.wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/
Moreover, creating duplicate content across domains is also a bad move to make. Google’s Penguin algorithm will detect that and hurl both URLs to the back of the SERPs (search engine page results) where the sun don’t shine. http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=66359
