post reorganizes itself after posting

    This has happened to me a few times now. This is what I do.

    I write my post in WLW. I upload it as a draft because I want to add a photo from my gallery. Anyway, I edit it, proof it and add a more tag, add my tags and category. After I do all that in the WordPress editor, I publish.

    I just published and this is what happened. The first paragraph and the photo were published at the bottom of the post. The more tag was placed at the very top so all you saw on my blog was “read more” and when I clicked that, the first paragraph and photo were at the bottom.

    I had to go back, delete the photo and cut and paste the paragraph and put it back where it was supposed to be and then add the photo again. Also, it changed some fonts only on some of my paragraphs. I had to go clean that up. I republished and it was fine.

    This has happened at least 3-4 times now.

    Is there some sort of code I should be looking for in the HTML editor before publishing that causes it to rearrange my post and change my fonts? It looks fine before publishing, it just changes after I publish.

    http://fruitoftheword.com (if you look, the post is fine now so it doesn’t help to look. I want to be able to prevent this in the future as it’s time consuming to fix)

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    What it’s doing is taking everything above the “more tag” and place it at the bottom while leaving the “more tag” at the very top.

    You cannot place the read more tag in a blockquote or in an ordered or unordered list. Maybe that’s what went wrong. However, I notice you have been having other difficulties with WLW recently so I’m wondering if you shouldn’t contact Staff and use Blog Desk until they sort the problem.

    @trishrei,

    Go to settings > general and make sure that your time offset from GMT/UTC is set correctly for your particular timezone. Also – and I’m not familiar with WLW – make sure that if it has a time zone setting that it is also set correctly for your particular time zone.

    @timethief, I do know that I can’t place my more tag in any type of list or quote. The way I insert it is after the post is completely done, add a paragrah break and then insert the more tag. I don’t think that’s the problem. Yeah, WLW has been giving me problems as I can’t load the theme. I quit trying. I’m getting a lot of 404 errors on my google webmaster site because I kept trying.

    @thesacredpath, after reading your answer, I went and checked. It is set correctly for my local time.

    I guess I’ll contact staff support.

    Thanks,
