Post returns a 404 error

    I am a new blogger, and have been blogging along without issue for most of this week. All posts are set to default, and they all published just fine until today. I finished a chapter in my book, wrote up a blog post as usual, hit publish and…404 error.
    The default setting keeps defaulting to a 404, despite the blog post itself being perfectly fine. When I create a new post, the error appears again. When I change the template setting to ‘blank’ instead of ‘default,’ the error persists. Furthermore, the post keeps showing up in my drafts instead of being published, despite the fact I published it!

    I do not have any plugins, because the free version of WordPress does not allow for any.
    What do I do? I just want to continue reporting on the cool archaeology I read.

    Hi, would you be able to share the title of any of the blog posts where you’re experiencing this problem? I don’t see any draft posts at this time on your blog; were you able to get it published?
