Post Revision
-
I accidentally deleted a chunk of text from an unpublished draft. I have tried to find the post revision option, but I cannot find it under the publish window, nor in screen options at the top. In fact, there are very few options in my screen options…
Can you please tell me where it is? I would really like to recover my lost text…The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You will need to go to the Edit screen of your post. On this screen, you will see the Publish section. On the Publish section, there should be a list of options that include “Revisions” and the number of revisions available that you can revert back to. For more info, please visit:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-revisions/
Please note that WordPress.com will store the last 25 revisions for each post and the oldest revision is automatically deleted if there are more than 25 revisions.
Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,

Thanks Jan.
It’s appeared there now, but there’s not a previous vision I can use. It’s time to let the missing text go, I’m afraid…

Hi there,
Sorry to hear that. It’s always good to hit “Save Draft” if you would like a certain revision saved and accessible later on.
Thanks,
Jan
