Post revision option not available

Hello
I have just spent 3 hours getting a perfect post. I published it a number of times, as I kept seeing something I could improve, however it seems that the last time I updated it, I updated to a version which was one of the first I did (and don’t like).I have looked up support, forums etc and they tell me that the screen options will give me the choice to tick a show revisions module. This is NOT there on my posts page – it is showing on my “pages” however. I had downloaded and used the duplicate posts plugin by Enrico Battochi could that be the problem?
Would really appreciate any help – it was the first post that I was ever happy with and I want it back!! Cheers, Amana
