Post Revisions
-
I set up my blog and started my first post this afternoon, I saved my post as a draft. On the way home I checked out the WordPress APP on my IPhone and it showed my draft (pretty cool actually), then when I got home I opened my WordPress account back up, opened the draft and finished my post and published it (several times actually, I kept tweaking it). Then I went to bed and decided to pull it up on my phone again to check it out so I opened the APP again but it still showed my draft ?? hmmm ??, I pushed a button that said update and POOF!! My good published post is now replaced with my 1/2 done draft. In the process of trying to get it back the posted draft got deleted. So……I want my original finished published post back….HELP!!!….how the heck to I get it back. I’ve tried looking in Archive.org, Google and my history as well as trying to find the Revisions button on WordPress – but lo and behold it is nowhere to be found…..it HAS to be somewhere as many times as I published it while I tweaked it and also with the AutoBackUp that WordPress does. What do I do????!!!!!

This should help http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-revisions/
Also note that we have, for the last several months, been getting sporadic reports that multi-edited and very lengthy posts are prone to going POOF. Consequently, if this is your style, I suggest using an offline blog editor like Blogdesk or Windows Live Writer.
