Post says reblogged, but is not reblogged

    I performed the action of reblogging this website onto this website of mine.

    However, upon landing on the blog page of my blog, the post was not actually reblogged. Could this have possibly been a glitch or some sort of error?

    If so, can someone solve this problem?

    I just attempted to reblog the site and was able to without issue.

    What is happening whenever you press the reblog button? Are you seeing any sort of message or white screen?

    This sounds like it may be a cache issue. Have you tried logging in using a different browser or clearing your browser’s cache?

    I think what I had done is hit the reblog button but immediately reloaded the page, causing the button to say that they page has been reblogged but not actually showing up on the site of mine.

    A: Now, whenever I press the reblog button the button does not prompt a screen to reblog to the post with the comments box and the blue reblog button.

    A: No, as mentioned above, it did not perform the action is used to do, but rather just continued to stay as is.

    I can attempt to reblog this post via the mobile application.

    Edit: I have tried to reblog the post via the mobile application, and it worked to a satisfactory extent. It did not reblog as the other posts on the website did, where it included a framed box with a hyperlink linked inside it, however, this new formatting is acceptable. I would like to make it known that I prefer the forementioned formatting for the reblogged post though.

    If you could share to me how I would be able to reblog this post into another format, that would be helpful.

    Hi @ebenezersuresh, unfortunately we don’t have a way to re-reblog. Each post can only be reblogged once per user. If it thinks you reblogged, but it didn’t get to finish because of the reload, you might be out of luck just on this one post.

    In a case like this, I’d just quote the post and link to it, as you’ve done. If you run into this same issue with a different post and without immediately reloading, please let us know.
