Post script for Blog Giveaway

I’m having a giveaway on my blog but I’m having a problem getting the script to display properly. I’ve entered it in text mode, I’ve cleared both my cache and cookies and have also tried post the script between the wordpress short code but script only displays as a link instead of the form as is should.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What giveaway application are you trying to use? Many readers simply have their users leave comments, or contact them via a Contact Form. There are some additional tips in the comments here:

Hi Eurello,
I was working with Giveaway Tools and when it didn’t work, I thought that there maybe a code conflict with WordPress so I tried a couple of others that I was told were WP compatible but the same thing happened. I contacted the providers and tried their suggestions like clearing cache and cookies etc but that also didn’t work. I guess that I will do as you suggest and use the form tool for WP Giveaways.

Hi Sandra – note that there’s a difference between sites hosted here at WordPress.com and WordPress for self-hosted websites: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If the tools you were looking at were WordPress-compatible, that doesn’t necessarily mean they were WordPress.com-compatible. Typically, you can use any kind of plain HTML widget or code here, that doesn’t contain Javascript, Flash, or the other types of code that’s not permitted: Code
