Post showing under one tag but not anothet

  This has happened to my last two posts. I post with 2 tags, DIY and Sewing, and in the reader it only shows under DIY. I usually post through the app and tried making an update in the browser but same thing. What might it be?

  The sewing tag is one that gets many posts entered into it every minute of the 24 hour day, and every knew one appears on top, driving the others down the page and onto additional pages. See https://weartheduckytie.wordpress.com/tag/sewing-2/

  I scrolled and scrolled an scrolled on the tags pages at https://wordpress.com/tag/sewing/ but I could not locate https://weartheduckytie.wordpress.com/2015/04/19/simplicity-1465-reboot-fabricmart-haul/

  If none of the reasons for non-appearance there apply to your blog then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help first. Then subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

  P.S. I found the page loading delay on your blog to be supremely annoying and I avoid visiting any blogs using that theme.

  Thanks so much timethief! I had already looked at the topic for missing posts and know I did not break those rules, so I tried the modlook tag you suggested. As for the the theme, that’s interesting. I just changed it to a different one. Thanks for the tip.

  As it turns out, your post did get posted to the sewing tag, just not the one you checked. Your post is here.

  The problem is the name of your tag is sewing, but the “slug” is sewing-2. The slug is what’s used determine where the post shows up.

  I was able to create a new tag called “Sewing” (with a capital S) for your site. If you use that one going forward your posts will appear on the correct sewing page.
