Post slider categories

How do I remove the category tag on the top/main feature post slider on my home page? It says “BLOG” with a blue underline (I want that to disappear).
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks! That solved it.
Can someone help me with one other problem I am having on the feature post slider? Some of the images I upload are longer than other ones, leaving black space below the smaller images. Is there a way to restrain the image upload size to a certain height so that all of my images appear uniform? Is this possible without warping the way the image will appear?

My suggestion is to prepare your featured images to the same basic width to height proportions. There is not setting to have WordPress automatically constrain the images to certain proportions, and even if there was, it may actually cut off some important bits since the software does not have eyes to see the image.

Thanks.
Is there a way to remove the post slider buttons? I have limited to just one post, but they still show the arrows?

We can do that. This will hide the arrows.
.fa-angle-left, .fa-angle-right { display: none; } -
That fixed it! But…
My cursor still turns into a hand when I hover over the – now disappeared – slider arrows. Anyway to resolve this? #picky

Hi, great. I checked your site and I am not seeing the hand pointer when I hover anywhere to the left or right of the slider image. I tried in Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Are you still getting the hand pointer?
