Post slider for static home page in Pictorico (using wordpress.com)?

    I’m using Pictorico on wordpress.com. Does Pictorico’s post slider work on a static front page as well as on the default “posts” page? If so, how do I activate it on the static front page? I have already successfully activated it on the posts page.

    My blog is humanitieswork.wordpress.com, which is private right now, but here is a screenshot of the static front page and the posts page.
