Post Slider for the Twenty Fourteen Theme

    One of the features of the Twenty Fourteen Theme is a “Post Slider” which is right under the top menu on the demo. I can’t seem to find any information on how to implement that feature in my blog. So how do I create a Post Slider?

    Hi there,

    In case you haven’t seen it, Twenty Fourteen has a great information page which lays out how to make a lot of the features work: https://wordpress.com/themes/twentyfourteen/

    The Slider bit is right here:

    The home page features your choice of up to six posts that are prominently displayed in a grid or a slider, and controlled by the “featured” post tag. You can change the tag and the layout in Appearance → Customize. Use this “Featured Content” area to make sure your best articles get noticed.
