Post slider on Sight Theme: gone without warning

    I am setting up a new WP site using the Sight Theme. My posts were showing up on the slideshow, then after doing a bit of work on the site (plugins, content, etc) the slider ‘fixed’ on one post only. I unpublished the post then republished it and now that post is gone. Now the entire slider has disappeared and no matter what I do – no post will show up in the slider.

    I have followed the advice given multiple times about setting a featured image, sticking posts, and checking that me default theme settings are set to ‘static page’.

    What can I do to get the slider to work?
