post summaries–more tag option

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello, could you please tell me how I can make it so that all of my posts are summaries and not full articles? I know you can go to the “more tag” option in the editing, do I have to do that for each and every single post I’ve made? I have over 25 of them. Or is there a way to automatically set all of them to summaries.

I would really appreciate your help!

You can either edit them to use the ‘read more’ tag, individually or you can choose a different theme that automatically displays excerpts.

See this and click the links in it, to see the different ways you can do it:

Okay, I will look into that link and let you know if I have any other questions.

    Thank you so much!

Could you please give me some names of popular free wordpress themes that automatically give summaries or excerpts to your posts?

Even a few names would help. As I was searching but having trouble finding themes that will automatically give summaries to my post.

I also tried the pagination option, but that did not work.

I will really appreciate your help,

    Zina
