Post summary

  Is thier a plugin part that we may use to display a summary of the latest post on our blog on the homepage of our main website and act as a “post teaser” for the blog.
  Please let me know if anyone has suggestions.

  Also note that there is no FTP access to wordpress.com blogs ans wordpress.com blogs do not have plugins. If you have not read the sticky post at the head of the forum please do so now https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-read-me-first-before-posting?replies=1

  (1) You can post a link on your website to your wordpress.com blog.
  (2) Provided your website is equipped for it you could have an RSS feed from the blog on the website and simply set the wordpress.com blog feed to display “summary” rather than full posts. > Settings > Reading
  Blog pages show at most ___ posts
  Syndication feeds show the ___most recent posts
  For each article in a feed, show:
  ___summary
  Click “Save Changes”.
