Post Tags

The tags I use on my posts used to go to general wordpress tag page when clicked …such as a travel page, or photography page, which encompasses any user on wordpress using that tag…
…but now when I click a tag it just goes to an archive of my posts with that tag. What changed? Can I change this back?
Thanks,
Johnhttp://www.wanderinground.wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No you cannot change it back. Finally after 5 years of waiting our Tags and Categories links are now localized.

While I can see the benefit of having localized categories, localized tags seems counter-productive. I may write a post about (and tag) something that I will never mention again on my blog. Rather than being able to find similar topics on other blogs, it is now a useless link to one post on my blog. I may stop using tags all together, outside of frequently covered topics. It feels as if this change is isolating everyone’s blogs. Perhaps I’m just looking at it the wrong way, though.

Our posts still appear on the global tag pages under the tags and/or categories we assign to them. We can still search the global tag pages to locate blog post of interest to us.

Thanks Timethief, thats what I figured.
…and I do agree with you Tygrrius – sort of isolating blogs, or at least making it a lot harder to to “come together” under one one subject. Thats what I used them for, but, it’s all opinion I guess.
Thanks,

I disagree but the world is full of people who have different opinions. IMHO the previous arrangement violated accessibility guidelines. The target of a link should be indicated by what the link says. It should not be dependent on where the link is located.
