  I am not getting an option to use tags from wordpress.com/tag/
  Instead, I can only create specific within my website.
  Please suggest.

  Hi! Your post tags (and categories) will come from your site. And, if you’re using relevant taxonomy, you’ll typically find the post in wordpress.com/tag as well.

  Hi! I used categories for the below post, but in the reader, unlike other sites, my tags are not linked to wordpress.com/tag/ but instead as [site-name].wordpress.com/tag/

  Hi there,

  I’m afraid I don’t understand what you’re referring to.

  [site-name].wordpress.com/tag/ refers to a page directly on your site, and has nothing to do with the Reader. But at the moment you don’t yet have any posts that have tags assigned, so there isn’t any tag archive pages for your site yet.

  You do have posts in several categories. You can find the category page for the Poetry category at https://bandhangoyal.wordpress.com/category/poetry/, and your post is correctly appearing in that archive as the only post that has the Poetry category so far.

  wordpress.com/tag/ refer to the tag search page in the Reader. You can’t use tags from there, i.e. there’s no existing list of tags you can choose from. You add tags directly to your posts from within the editor, and you decide yourself what those tags must be. Then, once the post is published, it gets listed under the tag listings in the Reader, so other people can find your posts through searching by tag.

  For example, you’ll see all posts published with the poetry tag at https://wordpress.com/tag/poetry. But your post at https://bandhangoyal.wordpress.com/2021/10/07/under-the-cloud-of-failure/ will not be listed there, as you don’t have any tags added to that post. Adding a category to the post does not add it to the Reader’s tag listing.
