Post taken down due to obviously fake DMCA notice
-
Hello,
One of the posts on my wordpress.com blog was taken down due to a obviously fake DMCA notice (as in “the link to the supposedly copyrighted material leads to a blank page”). The text of my post is original material (an opinion piece about political events) and the person who supposedly submitted the DMCA notification doesn’t even write about such things. Not to mention that the e-mail address used to file the DMCA notice doesn’t match the contact e-mail published on that site and so on and so on.
How can such thing even happen? I suspect this is an attempt to steal personal information (using the counter-notice I was expected to fill in order to get my text restored).
Please advise. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
