Post time stamp and post background is taupe in some but not in others.

  I have two questions:

  1. Some of my posts have a time stamp and others don’t. I would like them all to have a time stamp. How do I do this?

  2. My last two posts have a taupe background while the rest are white. How do I change this so all of them are white?

  Those two posts are set as Sticky Posts.

  Sticky posts are stuck above all other posts, no matter when they’re published. In this case, your theme’s design chose to remove the dates on sticky posts and give them a different background so they stand out.
