  Hi! I was wondering how to insert a link into a Post Title because, when I click on it now, the website just refreshes. Thank you in advance!

  Hi there,

  I’m guessing you’re speaking of the “Tuesdays With Morii” title on your Blog page, correct? The text on the right of that page isn’t your post, but the title of of that page. That’s why it’s just linking back to the page itself.

  I know that’s confusing, so let me try to explain :)

  You have a page titled “Tuesdays With Morii”, listed under the Blog heading in your menu. On that page you’re using the Blog Posts block, which lists your blog posts, and it’s listing the one published post currently on your site, titled the same as your site, “Tuesdays With Morii”. At the moment that post doesn’t appear to have any content.

  But more importantly, at the moment the page isn’t even displaying that blog posts block at all.

  The page, Blog, can be edited in two places: under Pages ->All Pages you can edit the page’s content. But you can also make changes to the page’s template under Appearance ->Editor, and that’s where the problem is.

  Go to Appearance ->Editor, click the template name at the top and select Browse all templates, and select Page.

  It looks like you’ve made a number of changes to that template, including removing almost all the blocks that ensure the correct content display on the page. And in their place you have a static image that you’ve manually linked to your post, and the “Post title” block, which in this case displays the title of whichever page you’re on.

  So the simplest option here is to restore the defaults for the template: Click the template name at the top again, and click “Clear Customizations”. Once you do that you’ll see it looking like this:

  I know it now shows none of your content, but that’s normal. Click Save to update the template.

  Now if you view the Blog page at https://tuesdayswithmorii.wordpress.com/blog/, it should show your one published post, as inserted by the Blog Posts block.

  If you want the image and post content to appear next to each other, you can configure that in the page editor instead:

  Leave the site editor, and go to Pages ->All Pages, and edit your page. Click on the Blog Posts block, and edit the media position setting:

  Update the page.

  Lastly, edit the post itself, and assign it a featured image, and the end result should have the post display on the page similar to how it currently appears, but with everything properly linking to where it’s supposed to.
