    I’m not really sure what to call the part of the posts i want to edit, but if you look on my homepage http://www.gamertime.co.uk and scroll down, you will see those big patches of red.

    What i want to do is to maker them smaller so there is less red on the page.

    Also, on the featured grid, can i centre allign the text? i used some CSS to remove the tags and it shifted up.

    Thanks

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I checked your site at http://www.gamertime.co.uk/ and I found that site is using the WordPress software, but it is not hosted here at WordPress.com. You can learn more about the differences on our page about WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

    I can give you some tips to get started making the changes you mentioned, and then show you where to get more help with that site if you need. :)

    In general, I use the tips from our How to Find Your Theme’s CSS guide to figure out what CSS is controlling various parts of the design. With that, I found the red areas on the page, both around the featured grid titles and the regular posts — you can make them shorter with CSS like this:

    .grid .featured-content .entry-header {
    height: 100px;
    }

    .hentry {
    margin: 0 auto;
    }

    You can use that same approach to look for the CSS that’s controlling the text in the featured grid and center it.

    If you’d like more help with your theme, the best place to look for support for a theme if you have a self-hosted WordPress site is first with the theme author. If you purchased the theme, most purchased themes come with support and you can check with the provider. If you downloaded the theme for free, you can try asking the theme author to see if they are able to help. And you can always ask for help in the volunteer-based WordPress.org forums.
