post title doesn’t show up on technorati et al
-
Wondering if this is a WordPress issue but, since today, in blog directories like technorati my entries don’t show up or don’t have titles — rather the post titles are given as ‘kamenin’ or the first picture’s file name. Could be technorati, but I experienced the same thing with bloggerei.de: they re-cue my site as if they see my new posts but are unable to display them. I checked several other German wordpress.com blogs and they have the same problem right now (both with technorati and, if a member there, bloggerei.de). Even the big ones like Scobleizer.
Have fun.

This is the link for Technorati support http://support.technorati.com/
Staff do monitor these threads so I expect that if they have an information about this that they will post it here. -
I noticed this happening yesterday on Technorati. In my case the post title had been replaced by the ‘alt text’ (pop-up caption) of the first image file. I wrote a message to Technorati support but have had no response so far!
-
I’ve also seen my own posts listed on T as “Hot Links” or other such weirdness unrelated to the title or the content. I think Technorati is on crack recently.
-
I have the same problem. My last 5 posts on technorati shows incorrectly. They are shown as one of the image title file in the post.
-
Just want to add: the problem also extends to Google. When I normally google a post title I get a link to the post I’m googling. For the new ones I only get one to my homepage (and with a really low pagerank). As if Google also hasn’t registered the post title as such but has only seen that something on my site has changed.
I guess it’s related.
-
Google has registered the other pages, but pays more attention to what is on the main page and gives less “juice” to the other pages. Try Googling the URL of the permalink of the post in question and you will probably see that it’s there also, but since it’s still on the main page in your blog, that is the one it will bring up until it moves off the page and Google again crawls your site.

It works definitely different for older posts when I google some keywords from within the post title.
But I did as you suggested – and google could NOT find the post in question:Google search: address
The post in question
Google search: keywords (Google has already registered the content)Right now, it’s the fifth result. The second result is also interesting: it’s a trackback in the commentary of another wordpress-blog. Again, it’s only linked to the main page where that text snippet does not even appear. So there’s definitely something wrong here.
BTW, I tried you last post “Choices” and you seem to have the same problem.I’d be glad if someone could report that to Support. The support hours are a bit strange for European users and I won’t be able to do that today.
-
Once the post moves off the main page then it will begin to show up with the permalink address – at least that is how it has always been for me.
-
Well, with the trackback I showed you, that one is not even on the main page. Even so, it’s intriguing that there is no find whatsoever for the html address. Also, try google with
“and not a drop to drink” sacred
You’ll see it’s not as you say.I don’t want to be annoying but to me it looks really like an error that occured during the last two days and, because of the other strange things on technorati and bloggerei.de, seems to caused by something WordPress-related. Older post are fine as they were always.
Thanks for your help, it’s very appreciated.

Thanks again, just wanted to say that I could file a support request. Something about Pacific Day Time must have gotten me confused about the real time :-)

Have experienced the same problem plus some.
My posts were consistently appearing on Technorati but as of last week, they do not show in their search directory under blogs or tags.
Now my post show up on my Home Technorati page but not anywhere else.
