Post Title Justification

My post titles are sometimes too long to fit easily. WordPress’ solution is to move them to cover two lines. Fine. But the system justifies the first line of the title so that it has great gaps between each word (as in a justified text). Is there anyway to correct this?

Yes, don’t use long titles. :)

It’s actually more of the theme designer’s solution, not wordpress’. You run into it a lot on themes. Most of the designers usually design the themes for themselves and, if they themselves don’t normally have long titles, they don’t take into account the issue.

I don’t see an example of this on your blog so it’s kind of hard to tell specifically in your case. Probably could do something with CSS in specific cases.

I have the same problem as sneebedeckt. Is the way to just use a different theme. I like the default ’cause I can use a custom image. But if it is at the cost of having those ugly spaces between words I might have to try it. Is it the only way?
    Any sugestion will be welcome.

engtech has prepared theme reviews and the treatment of long titles is addressed in them so perhaps you would like to check them out. Maybe you will find another theme that you like.

Also if you have a long title you could choose to place it in the custom header image using a smaller font and click the “hide text” button on themes where this option is available.

Lastly I believe you could purchase a css upgrade and change the font size in the header.
