Post title sometimes not showing up on Coraline theme

    Hi,

    I’m using Coraline theme for my blog and I’ve been having problems with post titles not showing up on the homepage. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. At first I thought it’s because I’m using PressThis tool and that’s why my post title doesn’t show up, but lately I didn’t use that tool and my latest post doesn’t have its title on the homepage. I clicked on the “Preview Changes” button whenever I’m done with the posts and the post title shows up fine. It’s too bad the post title isn’t there when the post is actually live.

    1) Gosh, that’s a good-looking blog. I’ll have to come back to it.

    2) I noticed that the posts with no titles also have no categories. Have you by any chance put them in the “Aside” category? That seems to have some weird functionality that includes not making the titles visible. If you have, stop. Edit them and take that out. If you haven’t, then try putting in ANY category and updating and seeing what happens then. Please report back, because you’re not the only one who’s reported this and others could use the report.

    2) Hmm….that’s weird. All of my posts have one or more categories and none of it is the “Aside” category. But I checked all of my posts that don’t have the titles, and it appears that all of them have the “Muse” category (which is the category I use a LOT).

    So do I have to delete that category and then make a new category with Muse on it? But what if this happens again to another category?

    OK I found a quick fix. For some reason, my blog doesn’t like the “Muse” category and it’s the one that’s causing the post titles not showing up.

    So I changed the category name to “Muses” and…voila! All the post titles are showing up just fine.

    Interesting, eh?

    I had the same problem, changed the category name and everything’s fine now. Well, except for my old category name.
