Post titles not showing

  I’m experiencing an issue where my post titles are not showing. This problem started when I added a ‘recent posts’ block to my homepage. Now when I view one of my posts individually, either through a recent post link or by viewing the original post, the title is hidden. I can only view it when editing the post itself. I’ve tried adding code to change it, and I’ve checked that the default post format is standard, but I can’t find a solution. A lot of the options suggested online I can’t use as I have the standard (free) access to the site .
